Second iteration of exSEED, completing the goal of creating a debit card version of a credit card, with rewards on top of credit building. This product was focused on helping the 121 million credit-challenged Americans build credit by saving, in a seamless & passive experience. We identified a credit building vehicle that existed for years within credit unions called a Credit Builder Loan (see below to learn how this works) and elegantly integrated this within our consumer banking experience. We brought on a partner bank to facilitate the backend for the loan and banking and launched this product in 10 months to our first cohort from our waitlist.
